Lime base coat
CS I · pure air-lime plaster without added cement
A base plaster that is vapour-permeable and, thanks to its extensive moisture exchange, ensures a pleasant and balanced indoor climate. Thanks to its open-pored structure, it also has the natural ability to absorb and bind nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the indoor air. Thanks to its purely mineral, pollutant-free composition and the natural mould-inhibiting effect of air lime, this plaster is an excellent choice for sensitive living areas and is ideally suited to people with a keen awareness of healthy living.
When used as an exterior plaster, gräfix 61 bio must always be fitted with a weather-resistant protective coating.

- Prime non-mineral substrates with gräfix 66 HP rough
- Mix one bag of gräfix 61 bio with approx. 6.5–7 litres of water
- For machine application, use only DF UMP1
- Application must be carried out in multiple layers
- Plaster thickness: at least 8 mm to 12 mm per coat
- Coverage: approx. 42 m² per tonne at a plaster thickness of 15 mm
- Drying times: at least 1 day per mm of plaster thickness
