gräfix 698 is a paste-like, vapour-permeable, ready-to-use, white-pigmented silicate-based adhesive for interior use.
When used in conjunction with gräfix 628 renovation fleece, surfaces can be finished quickly and easily using a mineral-based renovation system.
This vapour-permeable wall and ceiling coating is suitable for levelling and coating to achieve a smooth and uniform surface. It offers a practical solution for hairline cracks and minor irregularities.
Suitable for mineral substrates such as plasters and suitable existing coatings, particularly for old and new lime-based substrates
Supplied in: 5 kg and 20 kg containers
Coverage: approx. 500g/m² for embedding the renovation fleece and applying the primer coat

Silicate-based mineral renovation system for interior use
A silicate coating for levelling mineral wall and ceiling surfaces and for creating vapour-permeable coatings in interior applications. The system is based on water glass and is designed for use on mineral substrates.
When used in conjunction with the gräfix renovation fleece, wall and ceiling surfaces can be renovated easily and cost-effectively, producing robust, smooth surfaces.
The combination of mineral fillers and water glass gives the gräfix fleece adhesive protective and durable properties. When used with suitable mineral substrates, the renovation system can help to preserve the surface in the long term.
No biocides or preservatives are added. The high pH value creates conditions on the wall surface that can inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
The renovation system is suitable for vapour-permeable mineral wall and ceiling structures in interior applications.
