Renovation non-woven fabric · gräfix renovation system
A white, special-purpose mineral-based non-woven fabric for use in the gräfix renovation system. It enables the quick and easy creation of smooth, level and robust interior wall surfaces.
Suitable for the refurbishment of wall and ceiling surfaces, even where there are surface cracks, e.g. in plaster, as well as for clean and even wall surfaces in surgeries, offices and similar interior spaces.
The white special non-woven fabric can also be used as a reinforcement in paint systems

- Pre-treat mineral substrates with gräfix 697 Mineral Fixative in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2
- Apply a fine coat of gräfix 686 Mineral Primer beforehand to old paintwork, gypsum plaster, drywall and partial fillings
- Embed gräfix 628 into the gräfix 698 mineral fleece adhesive whilst it is still wet
- Cut using a double cut
- On plasterboard, use a sliding-blade knife
- Work over the still-wet surface with gräfix 698 mineral non-woven adhesive, ensuring a seamless finish
gräfix Renovation System
Silicate-based mineral renovation system for interior use
A silicate coating for levelling mineral wall and ceiling surfaces and for creating vapour-permeable coatings in interior areas. The system is based on water glass and is designed for use on suitable mineral substrates.
When used in conjunction with the gräfix renovation fleece, wall and ceiling surfaces can be easily refurbished to create robust, smooth surfaces.
The combination of mineral fillers and water glass gives the gräfix fleece adhesive protective and durable properties. When used with suitable mineral substrates, the renovation system can help to preserve the surface in the long term.
No biocides or preservatives are added. The high pH value can create conditions on the wall surface that inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
The gräfix renovation system is suitable for vapour-permeable mineral wall and ceiling structures in interior applications.
