CS IV · Filling and repair mortar

Fast-setting, for indoor and outdoor use

This fast-setting filler is used for filling, repairing defects and uneven areas, and for repairing and levelling masonry joints. It is also suitable for minor plastering and filling work, such as filling in window frames or reveals. Not for use on gypsum substrates!

  • Standard plaster mortar in accordance with DIN EN 998-1
  • Fast-setting cement-based levelling compound
  • for interior and exterior use
  • Colour: grey
  • Working time: approx. 30–40 minutes
  • Storage: 6 months
  • Supplied in 10 and 25 kg paper sacks
  • 40 bags of 25 kg each per pallet/1.0 tonnes
  • 60 bags of 10 kg each per pallet/0.6 tonnes
  • For levelling, filling and repairing
  • For use on floors, walls and ceilings
  • For trowelling and smoothing
  • for filling gaps or cracks
  • For levelling masonry joints
  • smaller fixtures, such as door frames, can be fitted, plastered and filled directly
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and in damp rooms
  • ideal for surface preparation during renovation work
  • Remove non-load-bearing coatings that restrict adhesion
  • Roughen and clean old, emulsion-based substrates (plaster or paint)
  • Pre-wet the substrate/masonry as required
  • Apply seamlessly using a stainless steel trowel
  • Texturise or create a free-form finish at the appropriate time
  • Mix one 25 kg bag with approx. 5–6 litres of water
  • Mix one 10 kg bag with approx. 2–3 litres of water
  • Setting time: stir thoroughly again after 5 minutes
  • Plaster thickness: 5–30 mm (up to 50 mm in some cases), depending on the application; for thicknesses over 20 mm, apply in multiple layers where possible
  • When the mixture begins to set, work it with a sponge board and, if desired, smooth it out
