Lightweight reinforcement mortar and adhesive
This lightweight adhesive and coating mortar is used for bonding and coating polystyrene insulation boards, mineral fibre insulation boards, mineral foam insulation boards and wood fibre insulation boards. Thanks to its mineral lightweight aggregates, this dispersion-modified, cementitious thin-bed mortar is easy to apply and work with. It is characterised by its extremely high yield. As a coating mortar, it is ideally suited for embedding reinforcement mesh.

- White, very lightweight standard plaster mortar in accordance with DIN EN 998-1
- particularly economical thanks to mineral lightweight aggregate (expanded glass)
- For external thermal insulation composite systems
- for fibre-reinforced skim coats, e.g. as weather protection
- Compressive strength: CS III

- Suitable for polystyrene, mineral fibre and softwood fibre boards, etc.
- A vapour-permeable, mineral-based coating mortar
- particularly easy to apply
- Can be applied by hand or with a rendering machine
- Excellent machine workability thanks to additives that facilitate application
- Suitable for use indoors, outdoors and in damp rooms
- also ideal for fibre-reinforced skim coats
- Remove non-adherent coatings
- Roughen and clean old, emulsion-based substrates (plaster or paint)
- Mix one bag of Gräfix 76 Leicht with approx. 8.5 litres of water
- Stir thoroughly and stir again thoroughly after 10 minutes
- When applying with a rendering machine, use one fitted with a built-in mixer
- Apply using the dot-and-bead method or over the entire surface using a notched trowel
- Coating layer on insulation boards: at least 4 to 5 mm
- Embed gräfix 791 ETICS mesh in the upper third
- Finish the surface with a smoothing disc
- Coverage: approx. 6 m² per bag at a plaster thickness of 5 mm

Thermal insulation for new builds and refurbishments
Thermal insulation that is professionally planned and installed can reduce heat loss through the building envelope and thereby influence a building’s heating energy requirements. The extent of the potential savings depends, amongst other things, on the building, the existing wall construction, the insulation thickness and the building’s use.
gräfix-therm external thermal insulation composite systems offer tailored system solutions for the insulation of external walls. Funding opportunities may also be available for certain energy-efficiency refurbishment measures.
In addition to the technical properties, the façade design offers a wide range of possibilities: using different colours, textures and finishing plasters, the various insulation boards can be individually coated and adapted to the design of the respective building.
In combination with suitable products from the gräfix lime range, mineral-based and vapour-permeable surfaces can be created for interior applications.
