Coarse mineral primer
Mineral-based primer with aggregate, formulated with high-quality water glass, for interior and exterior use
gräfix 687 is a high-quality, water-glass-based primer that is ideal for priming silicate-bound finishing plasters and substrates capable of silicification. The primer creates a non-slip surface and regulates absorbency.
Once dry, the primer silicifies with suitable mineral substrates and exhibits high water vapour permeability.
Supplied in: 5 kg and 20 kg buckets

- Stir Gräfix 687 thoroughly
- Can be diluted with up to 5 per cent water
- Drying time: at least 6 hours, depending on weather conditions

gräfix mineral paints based on silicate and lime, for interior and exterior use
Silicate paints in accordance with VOB/C DIN 18363, section 2.4.1, for the protection and decoration of façades, for vapour-permeable coatings indoors and for mineral-based finishes outdoors. The paints are based on water glass and possess vapour-permeable properties.
The combination of selected inorganic colour pigments, mineral fillers and water glasses gives gräfix mineral paints protective and durable properties and helps to protect suitable mineral substrates. Lightfast colour pigments ensure an expressive colour effect and depth of colour.
No biocides or preservatives are added. The high pH value can create conditions on the wall surface that inhibit the growth of micro-organisms. The mineral paint system is suitable for vapour-permeable mineral wall structures.
