Mineral paint for exterior use
gräfix 691 PROmineral is a silicate paint with excellent coverage and high water vapour permeability, based on high-quality water glasses. The paint’s hydrophobic surface helps to protect the substrate from moisture, making it particularly suitable for renovation projects and use in the conservation of historic buildings. Thanks to its special formulation, which contains less than 5 per cent organic binder, the PROmineral façade paint is easy to apply.

gräfix mineral paints
gräfix mineral paints based on silicate and lime, for interior and exterior use
Silicate paints in accordance with VOB/C DIN 18363, section 2.4.1, for the protection and decoration of façades, for vapour-permeable coatings indoors and for mineral-based finishes outdoors. The paints are based on water glass and possess vapour-permeable properties.
The combination of selected inorganic colour pigments, mineral fillers and water glasses gives gräfix mineral paints protective and durable properties and helps to preserve the building fabric. The lightfast colour pigments ensure a striking colour effect and depth of colour.
Thanks to its high pH value, the gräfix mineral paint system requires no biocidal or fungicidal additives, nor any preservatives. The high pH value creates conditions on the wall surface that can inhibit the growth of mould. The paint system is therefore suitable for use indoors.
