Travelling exhibition "Temporary Nature" in Gräfenberg until the end of October 2024
Travelling exhibition "Temporary Nature" - Now with us!
Our quarry is home to endangered species such as the yellow-bellied toad and many other creatures. As part of the joint project of the Bavarian Association for Bird and Nature Conservation (LBV) and the Bavarian Industrial Association for Stone and Soil (BIV), we are improving these habitats - for example by rutting our loader as a spawning ground for amphibians.
After a successful opening by representatives of the LBV, the town of Gräfenberg, as well as the lower nature conservation authority and the deputy district administrator Rosi Kraus, the travelling exhibition is now with us and will run until the end of October.
Feel free to drop by or contact us at dialog@graefix.de to find out more about the valuable role of quarries as habitats. Perfect for school classes and all nature enthusiasts. We look forward to your visit!
