The company
The good prevails
The success story of a medium-sized company at the gateway to Franconian Switzerland begins in 1930 when Wolfgang Endress is founded from a carpentry and construction company. From 1930 onwards, Wolfgang Endreß senior mines the Franconian Jura for gravel production in the quarry in Gräfenberg. In 1960, the first mill for limestone fillers is built. A lime kiln goes into operation in 1964, before the product range is expanded to include mortar, plasters and adhesives in the 1980s. These products are still internationally recognised today under the brand name gräfix - and are in demand by property developers and architects as well as private builders due to their high quality.
Since 1983, Wolfgang Endress has been producing the entire range of building materials for walls and floors in addition to ready-mixed dry mortar, crushed stone, mineral concrete, various chippings, stone powder, fertiliser lime, white fine lime and white hydrated lime. A team of motivated and competent employees also provides expert advice and support on site.
