Soil stabilisation
Lime consolidates and improves soils.
The white fine lime removes water from the soil and thus improves its load-bearing capacity. It becomes permanently firm, insensitive to water penetration and therefore frost-resistant. The main advantage of soil stabilisation with lime is that the poor soil does not have to be replaced. This eliminates the need to remove many cubic metres of unsuitable soil and transport new building materials. This reduces the burden on the environment.
